The first Ukrainian exercise “Rescue Days Ukraine 2019” has been held in Rivne oblas
During June 18–22, the first Ukrainian exercise “Rescue Days Ukraine 2019” has been held at the training ground of Emergency Rescue Unit of the special assignment of the Main Department of the SES of Ukraine in Rivne oblast. On this Saturday, a ceremonial closing of the exercises took place with the participation of the Head of the SESU Mykola Chechotkin and the Chief Instructor of the exercise Rüdiger Knoll.
Uzhgorod rescuers received a modern fire truck at the expense of the European Union
The vehicle fleet of Uzhgorod fire brigade has been replenished with another modern light fire truck with professional hydraulic equipment, which was received at the expense of the European Union. This project "Joint protection of people and environment through the creation of the Ukrainian-Polish system of prevention and response to the disaster in the Carpathian Euroregion" is being implemented by the Association of Local Self-Government bodies "Euroregion Carpathians - Ukraine" in partnership with the Main Department of the SESU in Lvivska Oblast, the Department of the SESU in Ivano -Frankivska Oblast, the Department of the SESU in Zakarpatska Oblast and Voivodeship Commandant of the State Fire Service in Ryazev with the financial support of the European Union within the framework of the Cross-Border Co-operation Program Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020.
Capital rescuers are on a working visit to the Republic of Poland
Representatives of the Main Department of the SES of Ukraine in Kyiv are on a working visit to their colleagues in the Republic of Poland. Commandant's office of Malopolska voivodeship invited capital firefighters to participate in the training during the implementation of the project "Improving the effectiveness of the response of Ukrainian emergency rescue services in emergency situations". The training began on May 27 and will last until June 2 in Krakow city.
The delegation of the Lviv State University of Life Safety is in the General Assembly of the EFSCA
On the basis of the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences, representatives of the Lviv State University of Life Safety took part in the Annual Conference and the General Assembly EFSCA (European Association of Fire Safety Institutions). The delegation of the educational structure, which included: First Vice-Rector Colonel of the Civil Protection Roman Ratushny, Lieutenant Colonel of Civil Protection Oleksandr Svyatkevich and Major of Civil Protection Oleksandr Lazarenko, were able to get acquainted with the latest fire safety techniques, and also participated in the final round-table meeting of all the delegates of the conference, which was held the other day in Tallinn (Republic of Estonia).
Kyiv: A delegation from Finland visited Ukrainian rescuers
On May 17, in the framework of the working meeting, colleagues from Finland visited the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. The delegation visited the 25th State Fire and Rescue Unit to get acquainted with the organization of the service, material and technical base and the work of the capital's rescuers.
Rescuers check the readiness for intended actions
Specialists of the Rescue Service carry out comprehensive work on prevention of emergencies of various kinds every day, as well as check the readiness of the units for the intended actions. In particular, rescuers take part in command post and tactical exercises and trainings.
Belarus-Ukraine training on cooperation in the case of fire in natural ecosystems in the border area took place in Kyiv Oblast
Recently in Gden village of the Bragin district, Gomel Oblast were held training within the framework of the project "Monitoring, forecasting and extinguishing of fires in natural ecosystems on the border area" within the framework of the program of Territorial cooperation of the Eastern Partnership countries of Belarus-Ukraine, participants of which were representatives of the Main Department of SES of Ukraine in Kyiv Oblast, institutions "Gomel Oblast Department of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of Belarus", State Environmental Research and Development Agency "Polesie State Radioecological Reserve" and others.
