Representatives of the Voivodship Commandant of the State Fire Protection in Krakow continue their working visit to Odesa. Such a meeting was held once again within the framework of the project "Increasing the Effectiveness of Ukrainian Emergency Response Services - Phase II" under the Polish Development Assistance Program. The delegation of firefighters was headed by the city commandant of the State Fire Department of Krakow, Senior Brigadier Pavel Knapik.
Previously, rescuers and representatives of local self-government bodies of Odesa Oblast participated in training sessions in Krakow, where the experience of rescue units of the State and Volunteer Fire Protection of the Republic of Poland was presented.
This time, colleagues from the Republic of Poland got acquainted with the traditions and professional activity of Ukrainian rescuers, implementation of experience gained during the international professional cooperation, equipment of units of the Main Department, modern equipment for emergency rescue, pyrotechnic, diving and CBRN protection. There was an interesting and useful communication of professionals, exchange of experience, discussion of common problematic issues.
Within the framework of the working visit there will be measures to familiarize guests with the achievements of the rescuers of Odesa region in the development of civil protection system, creation of safe conditions for economic and social development of the region.
